In this project, we will apply novel chemistries, biomimicry and methodologies to develop polymer based, chemically-defined and scalable material solutions for manufacturing. These materials will be optimised around maximising yield and potency in connection with bioreactor design and operating conditions. Such materials also provide advantages from a regulatory perspective. The materials developed will be synthesised using advanced polymer chemistry and synthetic cell attachment ligand approaches to give optimised performance in the manufacturing of cell and non-cell products
