CTET CIs publish on role the microenvironment plays in shaping tumor growth and subsequent bone metastasis

CTET CIs Dr Jacqui McGovern, Prof. Gail Risbridger and Distinguished Prof. Dietmar W. Hutmacher have published a paper this week in Nature Communications Biology.

In the work investigating the role the microenvironment plays in shaping tumor growth and subsequent bone metastasis, researchers used bioluminescent imaging, histology, and immunohistochemistry to study metastasis of human PC-3 and LNCaP prostate cancer cells from the prostate to tissue-engineered bone.
