This project aims to develop methods and materials to facilitate the high-throughput 3D printing of complex tumour microenvironments with defined mechanical and biochemical properties incorporating cancer, stromal, and endothelial cells, as well as tissue- and pathology-specific extracellular matrix components. The system will be applied to systematically study the influence of variations in the biochemical, biological, and mechanical properties on cancer-associated pathological processes using Design of Experiment (DoE) principles.
