This project involves the development of a disposable offline cartridge based on electrochemical and microelectromechanical system sensors to measure cell culture conditions via detection of micronutrients and metabolite panels. Piezoelectric and electrochemical immunosensors will then be created to determine residual lentivirus load in transfected cells and cell cultures, with biosensors developed to determine cell phenotype using magnetic immune-nanoparticles.
This project will be completed by two PhD students.
